Saturdays are about to bloom into something quite divine. Word from the fields is that Dearest Dahlia’s much loved Pick Your Own Bouquet Days return every Saturday from July 4th to September 26th, and seasoned attendees will tell you they are not to be missed. Picture it: rows upon rows of dahlias drawn from 200 thriving plants, featuring 40 exciting new varieties alongside a cherished collection of old favourites, all ready to be admired, photographed and gathered into the bouquet of your dreams. Guests will receive a bucket, a pair of shears, and the simple joy of hand picking 15 beautiful dahlias, each one chosen by you and cut fresh from the field. To protect the flowers and ensure a beautiful experience for everyone, each day has a limited number of slots. Once the slots have been filled, it will not be extended. Group bookings are very welcome and count toward the total capacity of each day. Add birdsong overhead and views enough to make poets weep, and you have a setting fit for a Jane Austen heroine. This is not merely a flower outing, dear reader, but quite possibly the social engagement of the season.
